地点:光学大楼A408会议室

主办单位:精密光谱科学与技术国家重点实验室

报告内容简介:

In the first part of my talk, I will give a brief overview of quantum transport including universal fluctuation relations and recently discovered thermodynamic uncertainty relation. I will talk about under what conditions such uncertainty relations can be violated? In the second part, I will talk about the experimental demonstration of quantum heat exchange fluctuation relation in NMR setup.

报告人简介:

Dr Bijay Agarwalla is an Assistant Professor in the Physics department at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune since August 2017. He obtained his doctoral degree in 2013 from the National University of Singapore, working under the supervision of Prof. Wang Jian-Sheng. Subsequently, he carried out postdoctoral research at the University of California, Irvine, USA and University of Toronto, Canada. Dr Agarwalla's research primarily focuses on non-equilibrium statistical physics, in particular, investigating charge and energy transport in quantum impurity models, universal fluctuation relations, quantum heat engines and also light-matter quantum systems.
