报告内容简介:

Optical frequency comb has revolutionized the approach to molecular spectroscopy in terms of high resolution (beyond the Doppler limit), high precision (reaching the level of an atomic clock), rapidness (without moving parts) and broad bandwidth (covering up to millions of equidistant frequency lines). This talk will introduce recent advances in dual-comb spectroscopy, a powerful comb-enabled spectroscopic method with two asynchronous broadband combs beating on a single detector. The report is based on the experiments conducted at Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics (Nat. Commun. 9, 3035 (2018) & PNAS 116, 3454 (2019)), along with the ones collaborating with Harvard (Prof. M. Loncar’s group) and ETH (Prof. U. Keller’s group) formicroring frequency combs and motionless dual-comb spectrometers.

报告人简介:(详见附件)

Dr. Chen received his PhD degree from Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics (MPQ) in 2019. His doctoral studies were carried out in the group of Prof. Theodor W. Hansch (Nobel Prize 2005) under the supervision of Dr. Nathalie Picque in the specialized domain of broadband molecular spectroscopy with laser frequency combs. His doctoral defense (including PhD thesis) received best score possibly in the system. He also won the Rao Prize for the best talk at the 2018 International Symposium on Molecular Spectroscopy (United States). Currently, he is a post-doc at MPQ, Garching, Germany.
