On November 25 to 27, the 2020 Sino-Canadian Bilateral Workshop was held by the Joint Institute of Advanced Science and Technology (JIAST) in Optics Building of ECNU. 24 professors and scholars from ECNU and UAlberta were invited to give presentations. The themes of those presentations covered advanced nanomaterials, photoelectric information, biological detection and other fields. Due to the epidemic of COVID-19, the Workshop adopted the forms of Zoom online conference in Canada and on-site meeting in China. The Dean E Wu of JIAST attended the Workshop on site.
At the meeting, all scholars shared the new progress of their research group and caused the heated discussion with each other. The 2020 Sino-Canadian Bilateral Workshop deepened the academic and technical exchanges between ECNU and UAlberta, and provided a platform for exchange and cooperation between researchers from both sides.
