Prof. E Wu, Prof. Wenxue Li, Prof. Huailiang Xu, Dr. Dalong Qi, and Director Yunxuan Zhou were invited to attend the 2019 Sino-Canadian Workshop on Photonics and Nanotechnology from June 9 to 12 at University of Alberta. 

During the meeting, several scientific researchers of the delegation introduced the new progress of their respective research topics. They also discussed in-depth cooperation and exchanges with professors of the University of Alberta and visited the Nanoscience Center of Canada. Prof. E Wu, Executive Director of JIAST, and Director Yunxuan Zhou of the International Exchange Department, reviewed the development of the JIAST and prospected its future work with members of the Canadian Organizing Committee. A recruitment was also held to help ECNU find excellent young talents.
