During June 9th to 10th，the Joint Institute of Advanced Science and Technology (JIAST) held the "2021 ECNU-UAlberta Student Forum in Physics".

The forum invited 12 excellent postgraduate students from ECNU and UAlberta to give reports on the topics of physics, materials, photonics, optics and electronics. The whole process of the forum was hosted by Zhiyi Cui­ (the postgraduate student from School of Physics and Electronic Sciences of ECNU). The forum used the Zoom online conference and attracted more than 40 students to participate in online learning and academic exchanges. Everyone can participate in the forum with Zoom and vote for their favorite reports with online voting channel. According to the voting results and the evaluation of JIAST's committee, the student forum finally selected 4 winner awards and 8 excellent awards.

2021 ECNU-UAlberta Student Forum in Physics  provided a platform for postgraduate students from both universities to share academic progress and promote academic exchanges.
