1. Course information
PRoSFER is a joint program initiated by East China Normal University and the ENS Paris-Saclay, ENS de Lyon and ENS de Rennes in France. It was officially approved by China’s Ministry of Education in November, 2011. With 19 years’ history, it has cultivated a large number of excellent students, which has been highly appraised by both China’s Ministry of Education and French Ministry of Education. In 2016, it has been awarded “Excellent Project of Cooperation between China and France” in “The Sino-French Higher Education Forum”, one of the activities of “the Third Meeting of the Sino-French Cultural Exchange Mechanism of High level visits”.
In this spring, we will hold the PRoSFER Spring Courses focusing on the ultra-fast laser physics. The professors giving lectures and seminars come from Université de Bordeaux, Université de Bourgogne Franche-Comté, Ecole Polytechnique, Université Paris-Saclay, Université Lyon 1 in France, and University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics(CAS) and Shanghai Jiaotong University in China. The courses cover related knowledge of ultra-fast optics, such as femtosecond laser filamentation, femtosecond pulse generation and atto-second laser pulses generation. The courses are open to all students and researchers all over the world who are interested in this topic. The PRoSFER spring courses will uses Zoom online conference and are free to register online to obtain the Zoom code for the courses.
