陈国瑞,2010年毕业于山东大学,获理学学士学位;2016年毕业于复旦大学物理系,获物理学博士学位;2017年至2020年在美国加州大学伯克利分校和劳伦斯-伯克利国家实验室从事博士后研究;2020年底加入上海交通大学物理与天文学院,任长聘教轨副教授、课题组长。

从事实验凝聚态物理研究,主要关注二维材料及其异质结中出现的新奇物理现象。通过设计与制备高质量新型二维量子器件,近年来在石墨烯摩尔超晶格中做出一系列开创性的工作,其成果发表在NatureNature PhysicsNature MaterialsNano Letters等学术期刊杂志上。

报告内容:

The Avengers saved the Marvel world using their superpower. In the condensed matter world, a class of new talents – the moiré materials, are trying to join the “Avengers” of quantum materials to solve the outstanding mysteries in the field using their own superpower. The team is consist of graphene/hBN, “magic angle” twisted graphene, ABC-trilayer graphene, twisted TMD, etc. In this talk, I will take ABC-trilayer graphene as the example to show where the moiré Avengers are coming from, what their superpower is and why they have the superpower. Other moiré materials will be briefly discussed from an experimental point of view.
