报告内容简介:
Recently, moiré superlattices have been found on the surface of topological insulators due to the rotational misalignment of topmost layers. In this work, we study the effects of moiré superlattices on the Landé g-factor and hence Landau levels of topological surface states. We find that an extra Zeeman term besides the bulk one can be induced in moiré surface states, due to the spin-orbit coupling and moiré superlattice on the surface. As a result, the originally field-independent zeroth Landau level of moiré surface states could be tilted by the out-of-plane magnetic field.
